Nebraska Map
by Scott Pachunka, LOLUG
This MOC is a tribute to my home state where I have lived in Omaha my whole life. My father grew up in Fullerton, Nebraska. My mother grew up on a farm in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. I have toured Nebraska through the years and in this build I pay tribute to the things that make our state the "Good Life".
This is currently on display at the Durham Museum in Omaha until May 24, 2026.

Build Facts
The build has been in progress for a couple years starting in 2023 and it was first shown at Brick Days Lincoln - November 2025. I received some constructive feedback and many suggestions that led to many improvements.
Each LEGO stud represents about 2.5 miles. Of course that is just the map canvas itself. The scales of the individual elements are all over the board. Many of features are more caricature tributes rather than trying to be 100% accurate representions.
How many pieces are in it?
I really have no idea. I did not count as I went along.
There are a of 8 plates that are 48x48 studs which comes to about 60 inches long by 30 inches deep.
I set it using the MILS standard for plate rigidity and to be able to "click" them together.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the build.
